Florie Tanquerel

Born and raised in the South of France, Florie Tanquerel was born to be a perfumer. She grew up near Grasse, the perfume capital of the world, alongside the flower fields she would eventually use in her fragrances. She developed her craft as well as her expertise with all-natural ingredients while working all across Europe, America, and the Middle East, in Paris, Barcelona, Miami, and Dubai.

Florie was nominated for the 2022 Notables, by the Fragrance Foundation, for her accomplishments and creativity within the industry. To her, scents and fragrances are more than just her craft, it’s her art. Her inspiration is ever-present, pulling ideas from fashion, art, architecture, nature, travel, food, and emotion.

The Song of Solomon expresses a metaphor of God’s love for the Israelites and gives us literally a godly perspective on the love between a man and a woman, the inspiration behind this scent. Lebonah Santo is a tribute to the holiest spiritual legend of the frankincense and myrrh resins since time immemorial. A scent about love but rich in contrasts: ambery notes of frankincense and myrrh traveled through Oman and Somalia, interwind mysteriously with a warm cinnamon and plummy cognac alongside mesmerizing notes of aphrodisiac white cacao bean and smoky palo santo wood.
